  9. A while ago, someone requested the recipe for this.  This
  10. recipe comes from the "King Arthur Flour 200th Anniversary
  11. Cookbook".

  13.                 Friendship Starter
  14. 1/2 c. traditional sourdough starter
  15. 1/2 c. milk
  16. 1/2 c. sugar
  17. 1/2 c. flour

  19. Blend well in a glass or ceramic bowl.  Cover with plastic
  20. and let it work for at least 24 hours.

  23. 2/3 c. veg. oil
  24. 1 c. sugar (or a little more)
  25. 3 eggs
  26. 2 tsp. vanilla
  27. 2 c. Friendship starter
  28. 1 1/2 - 2 c. flour
  29. 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  30. 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  31. 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  32. 2 tsp. bakind powder
  33. 1/2 tsp. salt

  35. Preheat oven to 350 F.

  37. Beat the oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla until light.  Add the starter
  38. and beat until smooth.  Blend the dry ingredients together and then
  39. fold into the wet mixture.  Pour into a greased Bundt pan and bake
  40. for 40-45 min.
